Tots N Tikes Soccer is a soccer, fitness, and social development program for children ages 3-5. The program’s structure and format are built on the following principles:
1. Provide a comfortable learning environment free from all elements of competition.
2. Give children of all abilities an opportunity to participate in all activities and games equally.
3. Create an atmosphere where children and adults interact in a positive manner.

Tots N Tikes Soccer uses an indirect method to teach children the basic skills of the games such as striking, passing, dribbling, and ball control. The method used is based on the best teaching and learning practices in the classroom.

Because of children’s attention span and varied physical abilities, Tots N Tikes Soccer includes elements of the National Physical Education Curriculum Standards to give all children an equal opportunity to develop and enhance their gross and fine motor skills.

Tots N Tikes Soccer program started in 2003 and has been part of soccer organiszations in Tega cay and Rock Hill in South Carolina and Matthews and Charlotte in North Carolina. Today, the program is an extension of Charlotte Soccer Academy in Charlotte, NC and Pineville Parks and Recreation Programs.
